17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Not only is God not responsible for human sin, He is the source of all good. In contrast to the wandering heavenly bodies He created, God is unchangeable. He always keeps His promises.
