"Box of Paints"

HERE'S MY THOUGHTS OF THE BELOW POEM
Laura Jackson, in my opinion, has written the expression of many, many individuals. I am right there with her!  As a writer myself, I become each and everyone of my characters when I write an article, stage production, or even one of my blog characters. It's just as Ms. Jackson states: "I can be anybody I want to be."
I find it adventurous to be "many" different characters. It's empowering.  What do you think?  What or who do you become in a "Box of Paints" ?
I live in a box of paints...
I can be anybody I want to be.

I can be cute, funny and sweet.
I can be at the ocean,
In the woods,
At home reading a book,
Or with someone who finds me wonderful,
Witty,
And smart.

In my box of paints...
No one angry or hateful can come in.
No place ugly and lonely is allowed.
No one can hurt me in my box of paints.

I create all that is good for me
In my box of paints...
My imagination is my best friend
My companion.
